This year has been a solid year, comic book movies, and some might argue his best year. 2008, for two big superhero movies, Iron Man and Hulk were both excellent examples of how superhero movies are made. But he knew what Christopher Nolan was created in 2005 with Batman Begins, I knew it was special.

Christopher Nolan has created a stunning film, in 2005, but this time he created something special in everything you thought it could be, and then broke before you realize that you're not watching a fantasy film as you watch best of its kind, and perhaps the greatest film. Every time a film comes along that raises the bar, the film raises the bar and blows to pieces. Its rare for a sequel to the first film, but as Godfather 2, this film does so with ease.

Christian Bale is back again as a troubled billionaire playboy who lives a double life as Batman just met some of his closest friends, Rachel Dawes (now played by Maggie Gyllenhaal), Bruce and former childhood flame, which he loves, Alfred Pennyworth (Michael Caine), which is once again amazing and offers some comic moments of the film, and Lucious Fox (Morgan Freeman), a genius of modern weapons technology to Batman. Bruce will have his friends to fight the greatest threat to the city yet Joker (Heath Ledger).
